Great job on counting the bicyclists. I live in West Kendall and am interesting in finding out the numbers counted in this area so if you have them, please publish them. Where can we find bicycle safety trainers to speak to groups in Miami? Please keep up the much-needed work to increase bicyle lanes and cycling safety.

I am one of the Grove riders that rides on the sidewalk (when there is one) & against traffic for a couple of reasons: the roads are so narrow, often there is not enough room for a car to pass let alone the 3' distance required by cars; the main highway "bike path" is only on one side and then turns into a sidewalk, therefore I end up on the sidewalk and go against traffic on the way home.

anyhow- good to see evidence of the city taking action in favor of cyclists.

Of course the bicycle lane stops on the Miami side. In fact, I'm surprised it doesn't plant you in the showroom of a rim-glistening Escalade dealership to normalize you. All this is in the Miami Constitution, no? /cue reggaeton anthem.

But 46% for helmets. Wow, that's twice what I would have guessed -- still horribly low, but reason for some optimism.
