Regrettably, yesterday’s feature article “If You Build It, They’ll get out of my Way”, was one such article that was based on dubious information. Have you ever read the onion. It is never meant to be anything but humor. I’m sure this happens a lot, especially with people who don’t know the onion or it’s history of satirical excellence.
Just don’t beat yourself up too much. The Chinese Government did the same thing. What makes The Onion so great is just how believable it is.
Quite humorous, I’d agree. Just goes to show that you shouldn’t blindly believe everything you read.
We pride ourselves in getting the facts straight. I failed to check the source and was consumed with the absurdity of the 98% figure above anything else.
