But to get from my folks’ place in Sebastian to our place in the Gables, it would take a 60 minute drive out to Okeechobee for an Amtrak that might or might not be late. There was an article I read a few weeks ago that Amtrak is considering running trains on the FEC tracks directly from Miami to Jacksonville. That ought to help you out if it gets going anytime soon.
Good thing you didn’t take the train. It was late on Friday and very late on Monday. Oh well, still better than driving to Orlando!
