		<description>Looking at the Alton Road presentation, with PDF linked at Miami Herald's site &lt;a href="http://media.miamiherald.com/smedia/2008/05/01/15/fdot_alton.source.prod_affiliate.56.pdf" rel="nofollow"&gt;here&lt;/a&gt;, it looks like they are calling the wider sidewalk a shared use path, which used to excuse the lack of a bike lane. Fortunately, the 2008 FDOT Plans Preparation Manual specifically says that shared use paths are nor replacements for on-street bike lanes. I will see if I can contact the project manager and remind them of the new standard.</description>

The PTP is a mess and the CITT doesn’t have a real budget.  I’ve got to commend Miles Moss for his work thus far as the Chairman of the Trust, too bad the County Commission stripped the trust of its teeth… This he [...]</description>
