Pic o’ the Day: Density Done Wrong

Today’s Pic o’ the Day illustrates what happens when parking requirements and density combine to create disastrous combinations. This city illustrates some finer urban elements in the CBD but as of late has sprawled out beyond control. Can anyone name the city or the suburb?

Looks like Atlanta, but I don’t think it is. The funny thing is, we have something similar to this in rural Martin and Palm Beach counties. Florida’s turnpike runs next to I-95, separated only be a barrier wall. The turnpike is only 4 lanes there and I-95 is only 6 lanes (will be widened to 8 eventually), but with shoulders from 2 roadways, that’s at least 200′ of pavement width in a RURAL area.
