I ride a Citizen folding bike (www.citizenbike.com) about 6 miles from the beach to the Design District to work and it's been relatively fine. When it rains I fold it up and take the bus and I usually stash the bike in my office instead of locking it up outside.

Pretty tough to stay dry if it rains. I'm lucky enough to have a shower at my work (even though the water is cold!), so I would probably brave it rain or shine. the bum offered the best suggestion so far, take your bike on transit when it rains. Also, if you cannot find a shower, the transit ride will help keep you from getting as sweaty. Then you could bike all the way home.

Changing clothes when you get to work, along with a basic wipe down with paper towels (baby wipes do sound better), is something I've done before and found it to work OK.

I very much enjoy bicycling to work (live on South Beach work downtown take the Venetian). There is a very small gym in our building and I pay the $18/month membership just to use the shower. There's never ANYONE there and it's always nice and clean. I do have to keep an eye on the forecast (this afternoon would have been bad), but the worst case scenario is I take the bike on the mover to the Omni and then throw it on the A bus. I haven't owned a car in almost 14 years. South Florida traffic, drivers, roads, parking, etc. all suck.

I change into my work clothes once I get to the office. Bring a towel with you to get all the sweat/grime off and then toss some baby powder on yourself.

Give it another month, I bet you'll be dreading sitting at your job stinking, feeling oily and sweaty.

I enjoy biking to work, any suggestions for staying dry and or not getting stinky if there are no showers in your building? Baby wipes?
