All that comes to my mind when thinking of this place, is Vienna, Austria or Sofia, Bulgaria. I don’t know much else.
I’m thinking it is in Eastern Europe as well
Man? The usual suspects are stumped? I guess after the easiness of the last one, I made this one too difficult…
The answer will appear sometime tomorrow after a few more people have had the chance to reply…
Ok, I guess it’s time for a Hint…
Think: North or South America…
my first thought was disney world. it kinda reminds me of the train station in the front of the magic kingdom, the one you first see getting off the ferry boat.
That’s because Disney has done an incredible job at recreating an Imaginary Main street USA. It’s interesting to see how people flock to Disney for the main street ambiance, ride “futuristic” public transit, and walk outside for miles, yet their own living spaces look nothing like that and they are unwilling to live that type of lifestyle anywhere else…
…Disney is taking advantage of the void created from our sprawling communities and subsequently is filling a gigantic Main St, USA niche. For many Americans, Disney is the closest experience they’ll have to real Main Street, USA, or anything close to traditional walkable urbanism.
It’s really sad.
