Society Hill is lovely as it sits in the heart of a major urban location, from which you can either walk thoughout the heart of Philadelphia or commute via an extensive public transportation system throughout the hinterlands. Having grown up there, and spending most of my youth complaining about SEPTA, living in Miami for the past 20 years has really made me appreciate it all the more.
That’s good ole Society Hill in illy Philly. that’s where I did my undergrad so it was a quick recognition.
was going to guess wash dc or alexandria, va — so at least i’m in the right hemisphere.
i was gonna say, that looks an awful lot like rittenhouse square area here in philly.
Good guesses…not D.C. or Alexandria and not quite Rittenhouse Square.
It’s Society Hill, Philadelphia, one of my favorite neighborhoods. If you’re ever in Philly, I recommend checking it out.
It’s ok. I don’t think it’s as pretty as Haddonfield, across the river in NJ, but I’m biased.
Haddonfield is quaint and all, but I think the urban design of Society Hill really make it special.
Eh. Society Hill is ok for what it is. I’ve lived in both places, and I know which I prefer.
