Edinburgh Transit

Edinburgh is covered by an intricate web of bus lines which keep things moving along the narrow city streets. Double Decker buses constantly flow in and out of central bus stations filled with locals and tourists alike. A couple of enclosed central transfer stations exist to handle several bus routes as well as to keep passengers out of the whimsical Scottish weather.     ~~A Double Decker bus is cute but useless if you are disabled or have a stroller, the longer articulated are much better in the end.

    That is why the disabled and stroller wielding passengers limit themselves to the first level of the bus. Articulated buses are useless on the narrow European corridors better suited for horse and buggy transit than vehicular…The Double Decker Buses offer a much higher seated capacity than their articulated counterparts, making them ideal for longer suburban routes, many of which travel packed…
