A close friend of mine works next to the location of today’s train derailment. They forwarded a picture for me to share. Funny thing was that I walked along the tracks right where this train derailed recently and wondered how any train could possibly travel along them. I think part of the problem is that the government still makes railroads pay property tax on the ROW.
